PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rotary electric machine capable of obtaining a proper characteristic according to all rotation speeds ranging from low speed rotation to high speed rotation while increasing an operation region significantly regardless of the use of a rare-earth magnet. SOLUTION : A rotary electric machine includes a neutral point of three-phase Y-connection, and the neutral point of the three-phase Y-connection slides on a stator coil, so that the effective number of turns of the stator coil is changed.
