Method of preparation of mixed oxyhydrure including/understanding the following stages : (A) to carry out a mixture of hydroxides of (or) the ground (S) rare (S) and (or) element (S) metal (S) other (S) that rare earths; (B) to subject the mixture of hydroxides of the stage (A) to a drying then with a heat treatment; and (C) to put in contact the solid resulting from the stage (B) with hydrogen; and use of such a mixed oxyhydrure, to catalyse a reaction of oxidation partial of an alkane in a mixture of H2 and CO at a temperature lower than 200 °C.
