A thick-film heating element comprises a steel pad (ceramic). Insulating and protective layers are located on the said pad, between which a resistive layer is positioned. As a material for resistive layer a composite paste based on powder of borides of rare-earth metals and/or transitional elements with admixture of powder of aluminum, silicon or aluminum, or silicon is used.
