PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an organic thermoelectric conversion material with high thermoelectric conversion efficiency by solving problems of inorganic thermoelectric conversion materials such as rare elements, harmful substances and difficulties of manufacturing, because the thermoelectric conversion material is noted from the point of view of the improvement of energy utilization efficiency.
SOLUTION : A thermoelectric conversion material composed of poly (, 4-ethylene dioxythiophene)-based electroconductive composition which is anion-doped and contains a high-boiling point solvent, has a excellent thermoelectric performance index equal to that of a conventional thermoelectric conversion material comprising inorganic materials. A thermoelectric conversion element using the thermoelectric conversion material has low environmental load, is easily manufactured and light weight, is suitable for recovering energy from a relatively-low heat source, and gives a large effect to improve energy utilization efficiency.
