PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve the problem of conventional mowing sickles and grass shears wherein manual work using them is dangerous, with blood clots or blisters likely to form on hands and with a lot of people suffering from thecitis and lumbago, while a machine mowing operation causes noise and splashing, causing trouble to both operators and people around. SOLUTION : For mowing, a spade is lowered to dig earth and roots, but digging is impossible if it involves bending by about 90 degrees halfway; it is only possible to pull the spade in front and cut only stems. Fatigue and the time required can be reduced by basically pulling the spade lightly in front, and avoiding extra work. A mowing method allows easy body movements in consideration of body rhythms, while securing safety, causing little noise, and preventing stones and weeds from splashing. With vertical angle adjustments (4), a mowing range is expanded to include places that cannot be reached with a telescopic handle, for places that cannot be mowed conventionally, and an operation range can surely be expanded to include new areas.
