A non-toxic ignition primer mixture for primers with the content of rare noble elements - palladium or rhenium - and/or any compounds thereof, which never appear in larger amounts within the ambient environment and which, once fired, are able to developed sufficient distinguishing marks to enable straight forward identification of the ammunition from the combustion products after firing by means of the SEM - EDX method with simultaneous utilisation of the visual colorimetry.
