PURPOSE : A selective catalytic reduction(SCR) catalyst with improved durability is provided to accelerate the yield of ammonia by increasing the hydrolyzing efficiency of urea if urea is used as a reducing agent. CONSTITUTION : A single ceria element or ceria complex oxide is stacked on the uppermost layer of an SCR catalyst. Zeolite or non-zeolite-based metal oxide is applied for the SCR catalyst. The non-zeolite-based metal oxide is vanadium-titanium oxide or zirconia. The ceria complex oxide is selected from cerium, rear earth elements, transition metals, alkali metals, and alkali earth metals. The SCR catalyst is coated to a honeycomb or is extruded in the form of the honeycomb. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
