PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing an oxide superconductive bulk material, which method includes an oxygen enrichment process and produces the oxide superconductive bulk material with a sufficiently high super-conductive property.
SOLUTION : In the method for producing the oxide superconductive bulk material, RE2BaCuO5 is finely dispersed in RE1+xBa2-xCu3Oy (wherein RE is Y or one kind or more kinds of elements selected from rare earth elements; -0.1≤x≤0.1; and 6.8≤y≤7.2). The method for producing the oxide superconductive bulk material has a process of heat treatment before oxygen enrichment for heat treating the oxide super-conductive bulk material of which the crystals are caused to grow at a temperature of 1, 000 K or higher and 1, 250 K or lower, before enriching, in an oxygen enrichment process, the amount of oxygen of the oxide super-conductive bulk material having crystals grown during slow cooling from a molten state.
