PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light-generating organic compound excellent in resistance such as heat resistance, light resistance, and to provide a light-generating resin or ink composition containing the light-generating compound. SOLUTION : This light-generating organic compound is expressed by formula (1) [wherein, A is a substituted or non-substituted phenyl; Ln is a lanthanide rare earth element of atomic number 57-71; and (m) is 0 or 1] or formula (2) [wherein, A is a substituted or non-substituted phenyl; Ln is a lanthanide rare earth element of atomic number 57-71; (n) is 0 or 1; and (p), (q) are each 2 and 1, or 3 and 2, respectively].
