A transmission method and an transmission apparatus for a non-periodic sounding reference signal are provided, wherein the method comprises : a base station configures the time domain configuration parameters of the non-periodic sounding reference signal via a high level signaling or a Physical Downlink Control Channel signaling, a terminal equipment performs transmission of the non-periodic sounding reference signal in an indicated time domain resource. By applying the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention, the signaling overhead is reduced by high level quasi-statically configuring the time domain resources of the non-periodic sounding reference signal. On the one hand, the terminal equipment is allowed to transmit the non-periodic sounding reference signal in time domain flexibly, and therefore the terminal equipment can transmit the signal of non-periodic sounding reference signal in multiple sub-frames, the sounding time delay is lowered and the sounding bandwidth is widen; on the other hand, the terminal equipment is allowed to adopt a flexible timing mode, and therefore the limitation to the scheduling is rare.
