PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an animal repelling fence facilitating construction work and capable of avoiding the deterioration in an animal repelling function caused by an electric leak via plants. SOLUTION : This animal repelling fence 20 includes : a weed-preventing layer 17 which is formed by driving and solidifying a mixture of soil material, cement-based solidifier, aggregation agent and water, on the ground 16; a plurality of supports 21 erected in the weed-preventing layer 17 for every predetermined intervals; electric wires 22 and 23 laid overhead, along the alignment of the plurality of supports 21; and an electric power unit 25 for applying a voltage between the electric wires 22 and 23 and the ground (the surface 17a of the weed-preventing layer 17). The electric wires 22 and 23 are locked to the supports 21 via a plurality of insulation implements 24 attached to the respective supports 21, one electrode 25a of the electric power unit 25 and the electric wires 22 and 23 are connected with a feeder wire 26, and an earth rod 27 driven in the weed-preventing layer 17 and the other electrode 25b are connected with an earth wire 28.
