PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a casting method and a casting apparatus in which cooling speed for solidifying is fast, and an alloy for R-T-B base rare earth metal magnet, a mish metal nickel base hydrogen storage alloy, etc., having high performance in which development of dendritic Fe phase or unevenly distributed phase of Mn, etc., are restrained by using the above casting method, or a casting method and a casting apparatus for alloy containing a high melting point metal, such as Ti, Mo whose casting is difficult in the conventional method. SOLUTION : A centrifugal casting method with which molten metal 31 is poured into a rotating body 5 and spattered with the rotation of the rotating body 5 and the spattered molten metal is deposited and solidified on the inner surface of a rotated cylindrical mold 4, is used and the rotating axis R of the rotating body 5 and the rotating axis L of the cylindrical mold 4, are arranged so as not to become parallel.
