PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide magnetic particles having fine compound layers and the excellent uniform thicknesses on surfaces. SOLUTION : The magnetic particle has a magnetic-substance core 2 containing an Fe16N2phase, and an oxide layer formed on the magnetic-substance core 2. The oxide layer is composed of a first oxide layer 3 being arranged on the magnetic-substance core 2 side, consisting of an oxide of one kind or more of elements selected from Al, Mn and Zn and a second oxide layer 4 formed on the first oxide layer 3, and consisting of the oxide of a rare earth element; and a particle size is set in 100 nm or less.
