PURPOSE : A method for manufacturing a rare earth permanent magnet is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by decreasing total processing time since a rare earth permanent magnet is easily crushed in a grinding process due to the crack generated in rare earth mother alloy.CONSTITUTION : A rare earth master alloy is manufactured(S1). A mother alloy is heat-treated under a hydrogen atmosphere(S2). A hydrogen gas, which remains in the mother alloy, is removed(S3). A nitrification process is advanced by supplying a nitrogen gas to the mother alloy(S4). A grinding process for enhancing a coercive force is performed(S5).
