PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a bond magnet exhibiting excellent rust prevention performance. SOLUTION : The bond magnet 1 has a magnet element 3 composed of magnetic powder containing a rare earth element and binder resin, and a protective layer 5 formed on the surface of the magnet element 3 and containing phosphoric acid metal salt. The bond magnet 1 has at least one position where a phosphorus atom and a metal atom originating in a phosphoric acid metal salt is detected down to a depth of 40 μm or more from the surface of the protective layer by line analysis using an X-ray microanalyzer.
