PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a solid material for magnet which is given the density of 6.15 to 7.45 g/cm and assures excellent higher magnetic characteristics and thermal stability. SOLUTION : Magnetic powder of the rare-earth-iron-nitrogen-hydrogen system is pressed and molded in the magnetic field and thereafter it is compressed within the water using the impulse wave having pressure of 3 to 22 GPa.
