PURPOSE : A method and an apparatus for manufacturing high purity nitrogen monoxide and nitrous oxide from low purity ammonia are provided to manufacture plenty of the nitrogen monoxide and the nitrous oxide by incompletely combusting the ammonia based on oxygen and a catalyst. CONSTITUTION : Low purity ammonia is vaporized, and high purity ammonia is obtained using a distilling column composed of a re-boiler, a column, and a cooler. The high purity ammonia is introduced into a catalytic reactor(27) with a catalyst, and oxygen is introduced into the catalytic reactor to partially oxidize the ammonia. Nitrogen monoxide and nitrous oxide are generated. The mixture gas of the nitrogen oxide and the nitrous oxide are separated and refined. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
