FIELD : chemistry.SUBSTANCE : invention relates to a method of producing cyclic homo- and co-dimers of styrene and α-methylstyrene via combined oligomerisation of styrene and α-methylstyrene in the presence of acid catalysts, characterised by that the catalyst used is Y and Beta-type zeolites in H-form or cation-decationated form rare-earth-HY, rare-earth-Beta.
