PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for efficiently adsorbing metals such as rare metals and harmful metals and recovering the adsorbed metals. SOLUTION : Metals such as rare metals and harmful metals are adsorbed by using a hydrogel, which is obtained by cross-linking polyallylamine by carbon disulfide and has a thiourea skeleton, and the adsorbed metals are recovered.
