PURPOSE : A re-grinding apparatus for a drill bit and a re-grinding method of a drill bit using the same are provided to automatically re-grind a drill bit and to automatically inspect the re-grinded the drill bit. CONSTITUTION : A re-grinding apparatus for a drill bit comprises a loading/unloading unit, a first transfer unit(20), a rotator(30), second, third, and fourth transfer units(40, 50, 60), a rotary unit(70), and a grinding unit(80). The first transfer unit is formed on the top of the loading/unloading unit and picks up and transfers a drill bit. A first picker is formed in the first transfer unit. Multiple loaders, in which the transferred drill bit is placed, are rotatably formed on the rotator. The second transfer unit is formed on the rotator and picks up and transfers the drill bit. The third transfer unit rotates the drill bit at 90 degrees and transfers the rotated drill bit. The fourth transfer unit is formed on the third transfer unit and horizontally rotates and transfers the drill bit. The rotary unit is rotated at 180 degrees by receiving the drill bit from the fourth transfer unit. The grinding unit grinds the drill bit transferred from the rotary unit. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
