PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a coating material composition allowing continuous automation for mass production of a magnet system in particular; a method for producing the magnet system using the coating material composition; and a magnet system obtained by using the coating material composition.
SOLUTION : The coating material composition for adhesive corrosion prevention coating for a rare earth permanent magnet comprises : an epoxy resin mixture; an accelerator, a silane epoxy functional adhesive; and a solvent or a solvent mixture. The epoxy resin mixture comprises : at least one solid epoxy resin having an epoxy value of 2 equivalent/kg or less; at least one solid polyfunctional epoxy resin having an epoxy value higher than 4 equivalent/kg; and a phenol novolak and/or a cresol novolak having a melting point higher than 30°C. The coating material composition comprises a high viscosity epoxy resin, which is based on a bisphenol A containing an elastomer component and has a viscosity higher than 5, 000 mPas at 23°C.
