PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To avoid electric corrosion risk of a pipe line due to the effect of a regeneration vehicle without adding a selective drainage device and increasing a cathode corrosion prevention level.
SOLUTION : The electric corrosion prevention system of the pipe line P receiving the effect of the regeneration vehicle in a direct current electric railway is provided with : a ground electrode 1 connected to a part of the pipeline P through electric wires 2 where pipe to earth potential P/S is shifted to positive side while receiving the effect of the regeneration vehicle and showing ground potential negative to the corrosion prevention potential of the pipeline P; and a back flow prevention device 3 connected between the electric wires 2. The back flow prevention device 3 is provided with a diode having a feature acted in a potential that pipe to ground potential P/S of the pipe line P is more negative side than the corrosion prevention potential and more positive side than the ground potential of the ground electrode 1 wherein a current direction flowing from the pipeline P to ground electrode 1 is a normal direction.
