PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a laminated ceramic capacitor which has a large capacitance and shows only a small decline factor of the capacitance even if a high voltage is applied. SOLUTION : This laminated ceramic capacitor comprises dielectric layers 7 and base metal inner electrodes which are layered alternately. The dielectric layer 7 is composed of barium titanate grains in which Mg, Mn, and rare-earth elements are held in solid solution and whose average grain diameter is 0.2 to 0.35 μm. The rare-earth elements exist in a region having a thickness of not thicker than 10 nm from the grain surface, and further, the concentration of the rare-earth elements to total metal elements is not larger than 6 atm.% at a depth of 5 nm from the grain surface.
