PURPOSE : A method for regenerating ceria in wasted slurry is provided to minimize time required for operational processes by separating and collecting rare earth oxide from the wasted slurry using a vertical centrifuge.CONSTITUTION : Rare earth materials are dispersed in wasted slurry using ultrasonic waves. Particles larger than a pre-set size are eliminated from the dispersed wasted slurry(S100). The viscosity of the wasted slurry is controlled using a viscosity controller(S300). Ceria solid material and filtrate are separated from the wasted slurry using a vertical centrifuge(S400). The moisture is eliminated from the ceria solid material(S500).
