PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a use method for an IC tag, allowing suppression of medicine cost by reducing wasteful disposal of a medicine. SOLUTION : The use method for the IC tag includes : a medicine container storing a liquid medicine; and a plurality of re-stickable IC tags each stuck onto the medicine container, each storing medicine information allowing specification of the liquid medicine. The use method for the IC tag includes : a medicine subdivision process of subdividing a dosage into at least one subdivision container from the medicine container based on predetermined medicine administration information including the dosage of the medicine to a patient; a re-sticking process of peeling one of the plurality of IC tags from the medicine container, and sticking it onto the subdivision container into which the liquid medicine is subdivided; and an IC tag information writing process of writing information related to the dosage into the IC tag re-stuck to the subdivision container.
