PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of suppressing reduction of remaining capacity and return capacity when carrying out continuous charge under a high voltage and a high temperature. SOLUTION : The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes : a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. Ethylene carbonate and fluoroethylene carbonate are contained as solvents in the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and a positive electrode active material adhered to a surface in a state that particulates of a rare-earth element compound are dispersed is contained in the positive electrode.
