PURPOSE : A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided to prevent residual capacity and returned capacity from decreasing when continuous charge is performed at high voltages and high temperatures.CONSTITUTION : A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, wherein the nonaqueous electrolytic solution contains fluoroethylene carbonate as a solvent; and the positive electrode contains a positive-electrode active material with fine particles of a rare earth element compound deposited on the surface thereof in a dispersed state.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
