PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a dielectric ceramic having high specific dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, excellent temperature characteristics of capacitance, high insulation resistance, improved reliability in a high temperature load test and long service life and to provide a lamination type electronic part. SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic is composed of a main crystal particle 21 consisting of a perovskite type multiple oxide containing Ba, Ti, a rare earth element, Mg and Mn as metallic elements and a grain boundary phase 25. A crystal phase 27 composed of the multiple oxide containing the metallic elements and Si is contained in the grain boundary phase 25.
