A high-strength heat-proof aluminum alloy material is composed of (by wt%) Cu 1 0-10 0%, Mn 0 05-1 5%, Cd 0 01-0 5%, Ti 0 01-0 5%, B O. O1-O 2%, Zr 0 01-1 0%, Mo 0. 01-1 0%, rare earth element 0 05-5% and the balance Al. The alloy can solve the problems of high thermal-cracking tendency during casting and product having low high-temperature strength. The method for producing the aluminum alloy material is also provided.
