FIELD : chemistry. SUBSTANCE : invention relates to a catalytic cracking composition. The composition contains : a) from approximately 12 to approximately 60 wt % zeolite Y; b) from 0.5 to 6 wt % rare-earth element, measured in form of an oxide of a rare-earth element; c) at least approximately 10 wt % pentasil, where the weight ratio of pentasil to zeolite Y is equal to at least 0.25 but not more than 3.0; and d) zeolite Y and pentasil make up at least approximately 35 wt % of the weight of the entire catalyst composition.
