Useful model relates down the detection of the ionizing emissions, it is more concrete specific - to the determination of energy spectrum and integrated intensity of the flow of the ionizing particles. Technical result consists before the creation of this scintillation element from the hygroscopic and brittle crystal, before which would be combined the protection from the contact with the atmospheric moisture, an increase in the resistance, an improvement in the energy permission with simplification in the technological procedures of the production of element. Highly sensitive scintillator on the basis of halides of rare-earth metals, which contains the compressive shell, a single crystal, output quartz window, nano-crystalline coating from bromide of lanthanum and aluminum case. The outer layer of a single crystal is made from optically transparent material and contains the sublayer from the nano-crystalline scintillator of bromide of lanthanum, located between the external compressive shell and a single crystal. The compressive shell is prepared of the scintillation material of less density in comparison with a single crystal. Beside the composition of a single crystal are introduced small quantities of those radioactive isotopes, for detecting which before the environment this highly sensitive scintillator is intended.
