PURPOSE : A carbon dioxide absorbent, a manufacturing method thereof, and a using method thereof are provided to prevent the reduction of an absorption rate in a repeated operation. CONSTITUTION : An extracted solution including calcium salt and silicon dioxide is obtained from a waste(S1). A carbon dioxide absorbing precursor including calcium salt and silicon dioxide is made by re-crystallizing the extracted solution(S2). The carbon dioxide absorbent including calcium salt and silicon dioxide is made by thermally processing the precursor(S3).
