PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a lightweight vegetation mat producible at low cost, endurable with flowing water in a high flow velocity without being peeled off and capable of sustaining for a long period an effect of preventing from absorbing. SOLUTION : This vegetation mat is obtained by unifying a net 1 having flexibility and mechanical strength with a nonwoven fabric 2 made of a corrosion-resistant material and made in the form of meshes through which earth and sand hardly pass, and water and the sprout and the root of a plant can pass.
