PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a fluorescent lamp, capable of carrying out authenticity determination of a light-emitting tube caused by an impure gas discharged at high temperature over 180°C.
SOLUTION : By a sealing process 13, a filament electrode is sealed on both ends of a bulb the inner face of which is coated by a phosphor. By an exhaust process 14, the sealed inside of the bulb is exhausted. Thereafter, a rare gas is sealed into the bulb by a gas filling process 15 and the light-emitting tube is formed by closing an exhaust tube by a seal-opening process 16. By a lighting testing process 17, aging is carried out while passing the light-emitting tube through a heating furnace in a lighted state. In the lighting inspection process 17 of carrying out this aging, while heating the light-emitting tube in the heating furnace so that the surface lowest temperature of the light-emitting tube becomes more than 180°C, the light-emitting tube is detained in the heating furnace for a required period of time according to the surface lowest temperature. By this, it becomes possible to detect the authenticity of the light-emitting tube while aging.
