PURPOSE : Phosphoric glass composition for deposition on flat panel display is provided to prevent thermal damage by ensuring low glass transition temperature less than 400°C, to ensure improved glass stability and to ensure low cost by not using rare earths element. CONSTITUTION : Glass composition for deposition on flat panel display contains a mother glass. The mother glass does not include lead and comprises P2O5 30 - 70 mole %, ZnO 10 - 60 mole % and Sb2O3 1 - 40 mole %. A coefficient of thermal expansion of the mother glass is 55 - 90 x 10^-7 / °C and a glass transition temperature is 300°C - 400°C. The mother glass comprises more : a first metal oxide selected in MgO, CaO, BaO, SrO and MnO group; a second metal oxide selected in Li2O, Na2O, K2O, Rb2O and Cs2O group; a third metal oxide selected in TiO2, Al2O3 and B2O3; a mixture of these.
