PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an aldehyde removing chemical which is excellent in the removing rate and the removing capacity even under a ventilated condition and can suppress the re-discharge of aldehyde. SOLUTION : For this aldehyde removing chemical, at least one compound selected from a group consisting of amines, hydrazine, a hydrazide compound, a hydrazone compound and an amino acid compound, and at least one compound which generates a cyclization reaction with aldehyde are used together.
