PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a laminated ceramic capacitor of high dielectric constant, in which temperature variation of relative permittivity satisfies X7R characteristic of EIA specification with a low DC bias characteristic and excellent life characteristic under a high temperature load test. SOLUTION : A dielectric layer 5 is made from a dielectric porcelain comprising crystal particles 9 containing calcium with barium titanate as principal component. Vanadium is contained by 0.05-0.30 mols in terms of V2O5 and rare earth element (RE) by 0.5-1.5 mols in terms of RE2O3, relative to 100 mols of titanium constituting the barium titanate. The crystal particle 9 consists of an inner core 9a occupying its central part and an outer shell 9b enclosing the inner core 9a. The mol ratios (Ba+Ca)/Ti of barium and calcium to titanium in the inner core 9a and the outer shell 9b are 0.90-0.95 and 1.10-1.20 respectively with an average particle size is 0.18-0.25 μm.
