PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a syneresis promoter for promoting the syneresis from water-containing earth and sand in treating the earth and sand having >25 % water content, produced in a shield driving construction, etc., in the constructing site. SOLUTION : This syneresis promoter comprises a cationic macromolecular compound and an nonionic surfactant. Preferably, the cationic macromolecular compound constituting the syneresis promoter is characterized as a macromolecular compound consisting of a diallylamine quaternary salt.
