The method for postprocessing a loch (7) with a diffusor in a component (1) by pulsed laser beam, where coating material is present in the loch, comprises processing the diffusor with small laser pulse length, where the method is carried out with small and large laser pulse length. Large laser pulse length of 100 ns or small laser pulse length of 10 ms is used in one of the first process steps as in one of the last process steps. The laser pulse length is continuously enlarged during the progression of the loch formation from an external surface of the component up to depth of the loch. The laser pulse length is continuously enlarged during the progression of the loch formation from an external surface of the component up to depth of the loch. In the first process step, the laser pulse length of 100 ns to 10 ms is used and in the last process step, the laser pulse length of 50 ns is used. The component represents a layer system, which is processed that consists of a metallic substrate (4) and a ceramic or metallic layer (16). The layer system has a composition of the type MCrAlX, where M is element of the group of iron, cobalt or nickel, and/or X is yttrium and/or rare earth elements. The layer of the layer system has a metallic intermediate layer and an external ceramic layer, which is a thermal-insulation layer. The substrate is nickel-, cobalt-, or iron based super alloy. The process is used in new manufacture of a component. Lasers are used for producing laser pulse length in different areas. An external top area (13) of the loch is produced with small laser pulse length and then a second part area of the loch is produced with larger laser pulse length. An interior area is produced in one of the first process steps and an external top area of the loch is produced in one of the last process steps or the external top area of the loch is produced in one of the first process steps and the interior area is produced in one of the last process steps.
