PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fishing rod case aiming at the improvement of user friendliness. ŽSOLUTION : This fishing rod case related to the claim 1 is characterized by installing an opening part for putting-in and out of the fishing rod at the side surface of a case main body where a shoulder belt is attached. The fishing rod case related to the claim 2 is characterized by installing an earth-contacting part having a flat surface part at the reverse side to the side surface attached with the shoulder belt and at an upper directional side than the center at least in the longitudinal direction of the case main body, in the fishing rod case described in the claim 1. The fishing rod case related to the claim 3 is characterized by installing the earth-contacting part formed with a harder quality material than a forming material of the fishing rod case at the reverse side to the side surface attached with the shoulder belt and at the upper directional side than the center at least in the longitudinal direction of the case main body, in the fishing rod case describe in the claims 1 or 2.
