According to the present invention, a waste water treatment method containing fluorine ions and cyanides is provided, in which the removal of fluoride is carried out by adding a first metal salt aqueous solution containing metal ions having an average oxidation number of +3 to +4 to the wastewater and adjusting the acidity to pH 1 to 5 so that a rare metal compound binds with the fluorine ions to form a precipitate, and the removal of the cyanide is carried out by adding a second metal salt aqueous solution containing metal ions having an average oxidation number of +1 to +3 to the wastewater and adjusting the acidity to pH 1 to 3 so that the transition metal compound binds with cyanide to form a precipitate.
