PURPOSE : An apparatus for measuring microbial respiration rate in a real time using influent water is provided to calculate COD(chemical oxygen demand) and obtain accurate date in a short time by measuring respiration rate in a low F/M ratio.CONSTITUTION : An apparatus for measuring microbial respiration rate using a dual sensor comprises : a step of a pre-aeration tank(10) which receives concentrate sludge of a sewage disposal plant; a re-aeration tank of concentrate sludge or tap water; two measuring chambers(30, 30') of respiration rate having a dissolved oxygen sensor(S3, S3') for measuring microbial respiration rate of mixture liquid; and a data calculation/storage unit(40) which calculates COD by calculating OC(oxygen consumption) and OUR(oxygen uptake rate).COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
