PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a laminated ceramic capacitor which has a high dielectric constant, whose variation in electrostatic capacity depending on temperature satisfies X7R characteristics of the ELA standards, and which has small DC bias characteristics and superior life characteristics in a high-temperature load test.
SOLUTION : A dielectric layer has a thickness of 1 to 2 μm and contains 0.05 to 0.30 mol of vanadium in terms of V2O5 and 0.5 to 1.5 mol of one kind of rare earth element (RE), selected from among yttrium, dysprosium, holmium, and erbium, in terms of RE2C3 for 100 mol of barium composing barium titanate. The crystal particles 11 made of dielectric ceramic, are each constituted of an inner core forming its center part and a shell 9b surrounding the center part, wherein the mol ratios (Ba/Ti ratio) of barium to titanium of the inner core 9a and the shell 9b are in ranges of 0.90 to 0.95 and 1.10 to 1.20 respectively, and an average particle diameter is in a range of 0.18 to 0.25 μm.
