PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide good biomass by solving conventional troubles. SOLUTION : A method of treating biomass is characterized by adsorbing and removing arsenic, antimony, selenium, chromium and/or copper contained in biomass with an adsorbent containing a rare earth metal compound.
