Drive for a circular revolving body of an entertainment device

The drive has a variable magnetizable stator (3) and a permanent magnetic rotor (7) circumferentially connected with a circular revolving body (2). The stator interacts non-contactlessly with the rotor. The stator has two variable magnetic coils (4), which produce a traveling magnetic field. The coils are spaced apart at an outer circumference of the revolving body, and are arranged outside the revolving body. Permanent magnets (6) i.e. rare earth magnets such as neodymium magnets, are attached to a periphery of the revolving body. An independent claim is also included for a money-operated entertainment device comprising a drive.
