PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of synthetic fluorite which can be suitably used for removing fluorine from a gas containing fluorine such as an exhaust gas generated in a process for manufacturing tricalcium phosphate by thermal decomposition of rock phosphate and also for producing a product (synthetic fluorite) high in the content of calcium fluoride from the above fluorine. SOLUTION : The manufacturing method of synthetic fluorite includes a calcium fluoride recovery process for producing a mixture containing calcium fluoride and calcium hydroxide by reacting the fluorine in the gas containing fluorine with calcium hydroxide of a quantity exceeding the stoichiometric quantity to fluorine, a hydrogen fluoride recovery process of producing a hydrogen fluoride aqueous solution by bringing a gas containing fluorine into contact with water, and a re-reaction process of reacting the mixture formed in the hydrogen fluoride recovery process with the hydrogen fluoride aqueous solution formed in the hydrogen fluoride recovery process.
