Edging for beds comprises a wall structure for retaining earth. The wall structure includes a plurality of wall members12, each wall member12having an upper edge28, a lower edge26, and a respective first end edge and second end edge12a, 12bat either end of its length, each of the first end edge and second end edge12a, 12bhaving at least one knuckle formation18a, 18badapted for engagement with a pin member22; the at least one knuckle formation18a, 18bof the first end edge of a first wall member, and the at least one knuckle formation of the second end edge of a second wall member receiving a pin member22to provide a hinged connection between the first wall member and second wall member. The knuckle formations may be formed integrally of the same material as the wall member, where each formation comprises a knuckle wall19which extends from the a portion of the end edge of the wall member12and then back towards a surface of the wall member12so that the end of the knuckle wall19lies in proximity to the surface of the wall member12. Both the pins22and the wall members12may be made of metal. The first end edge of a wall member12may have a plurality of knuckle formations, which may be interleaved with a plurality of knuckle formations of the second end edge of a wall member12.
