PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method and an apparatus for desulfurizing exhaust gas using sea water with low energy consumption and at high efficiency without needing a wide installation area. SOLUTION : This exhaust gas desulfurization method comprises processes for : washing exhaust gas by continuously feeding primary sea water and exhaust gas containing sulfur oxides, and continuously discharging washed exhaust gas and acidic sea water having absorbed sulfur oxides; premixing to obtain mixed sea water by pouring secondary sea water to the acidic sea water; aerating by introducing air to the mixed sea water; post-mixing to obtain re-mixed sea water by pouring tertiary sea water to the mixed sea water during and/after the aeration process; and discharging the re-mixed sea water.
