PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve the following problems with the conventional methods; magnetic superfine particles have magnetic moment and therefore even if the magnetic superfine particles are formed, the agglutination of the particles with each other by magnetic attraction is resulted and the important nature intrinsic to the magnetic superfine particles is negated; thereupon, a method of dispersing the magnetic superfine particles into glue of organic substance known as a binder and solidifying the same (magnetic tape) is heretofore practiced; however, the dispersion is effected by agitation and therefore the complete elimination of the agglutination is not possible by all means and there are heretofore problems in terms of strength. SOLUTION : The method for forming glass containing amorphous rare earth iron garnet nanocrystals at high density in the final comprising introducing the amorphous rare earth iron garnet nano-superfine particles into the pores of the porous glass having the pores of namometer sizes, then changing the amorphous rare earth iron garnet nano-superfine particles in the pores to amorphous rare earth iron garnet nanocrystals by heat treatment and simultaneously fusing the pores of the porous glass to form the ordinary glass.
