PURPOSE : Free-lead dielectric composition and a plasma display panel using the same are provided to improve price competitive power by manufacturing environment-friendly plasma display panel and reducing the cost using the free-lead dielectric composition consisting of ZnO - B2O3 - SiO2.CONSTITUTION : Free-lead dielectric composition comprises : ZnO of 3 - 35 mol%%; B2O3 of 30 - 60 mol%%; SiO2 of 15 - 40 mol%%; Al2O3 of 0 - 8 mol%%; a first metal oxide of 7.5 - 15 mol%%; and a second metal oxide of 0 - 5 mol%%. The first metal oxide comprises K2O of 3 - 15 mol%%, Na2O of 0 - 10 mol%%, and Li2O of 0 - 10 mol%%. The second metal oxide includes BaO, MgO, or SrO. The free-lead dielectric composition more includes a coloring agent comprising transition elements and rare-earth elements.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
